Iranian actor Abolfazl Miri says to ifilm in an exclusive report that his appearance in ‘Under the Smokey Roof' served as an acting course for the young talent.
The actor disclosed to ifilm in the report that “I haven’t attended many acting courses. But this project was like a training course for me,” adding the film was “like a training course for me. In some scenes, Farhad Aslani (the male lead) would talk to me and tell me how to behave and speak.”
Referring to his cast for the film, he noted that “They held auditions and I was chosen during the first phase of the audition. Then there was a show-down among a few actors and in the end it was my honor to be chosen.”
Abolfazl Miri is a new acting talent in Iran cinema and it appears that his big breakthrough in acting has come with ‘Under the Smokey Roof’.
Pouran Derakhshandeh’s ‘Under the Smoky Roof’, starring Farhad Aslani and Merila Zarei, is based on the social and emotional dilemma of divorce in Iranian culture.
